Be Sharp Academy of the Arts had it's first Christmas recital. I couldn't have imagined how wonderful it would be!
The students have worked so hard preparing for their performances. The students put a lot of effort into all their pieces, and it all paid off on the day of the recital!
There were some amazing duets from our duet mini course including a mother and son duet. It was so great to see students and family play together! We had a wide variety of instrument performances! There were ukuleles, guitars, drums, pianos, and vocalists as well. Be Sharp has such talented musicians.
A lot of holiday favourites were played, including We Wish You a Merry Christmas and The Chipmunk Song. Some of our students got creative with their music like Louella, who attached bells to her ankles and played her own version of Jingle Bells while stomping around.
During my performance of Santa Clause is Coming to Town, We had a very special visitor during my performance of Santa Clause is Coming to Town! Santa made time out of his busy schedule to watch all of the performances and give out gifts to the students. He was also kind enough to stay to take pictures with everyone.
Having such a great staff and such a wonderful group of students makes me very proud! Without them, I would not have been able to accomplish this!
